| EnTire Solution is a direct, driver-oriented
tire pressure monitoring (TPM) system
with related tools and services that
offers drivers peace of mind, fuel savings
and mobility. Current systems employ
a battery-powered sensor installed at
the valve stem inside each wheel, including,
if desired, the spare tire. The sensor
regularly communicates tire pressure
information to a receiver/electronic
control unit (ECU) via radio signal.
The receiver/ECU then processes the
data and activates a low tire pressure
or a TPMS malfunction telltale, if necessary.
EnTire Solution is available as a "Basic"
or "Enhanced"
TPM system. All EnTire Solution direct
TPM systems comply with U.S. TREAD Act
FMVSS138 regulations, but also include
additional driver-oriented features.
